Manila, Philippines — 15 May 2025— iOne Resources, Inc., a leading technology and communications solutions provider, proudly announces the successful deployment of the country’s largest Starlink satellite broadband network in support of the National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025. This landmark initiative marks a major step forward in ensuring fast, secure, and reliable transmission of election data across geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) nationwide.
The deployment, conducted in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and key technology providers, enabled real-time data transmission from thousands of polling precincts in remote municipalities. By integrating Starlink’s low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology, iOne Resources ensured uninterrupted connectivity where traditional terrestrial networks were unreliable or unavailable.

Over 7,800 Starlink terminals were deployed across 1,493 municipalities with 438,500 voting precints making this the largest single coordinated deployment of Starlink units in the Philippines to date. Each terminal was strategically installed and tested by iOne’s field engineers and technicians to guarantee optimal performance and data integrity during the electoral transmission period.
In addition to deployment, iOne Resources implemented a Managed Starlink Service System, providing remote monitoring, equipment redundancy, and on-ground support to ensure operational continuity before, during, and after election day.
